Бассет любит что ни будь рыть

Будь то песок, кровать, диван и так далее. Это породная черта. Сделайте ему во дворе песочницу, что бы он спокойно рыл. А в квартире - это может быть его лежанка или специально отведенное место. Также, поощряйте при правильном поведении. Будьте настойчивы, если бассет с первого раза не хочет правильно себя вести. Строгим голосом “нельзя” - при нежелательном поведении, похвала (другим тоном ) и лакомство при нужном поведении.

Бассет это очень любит. Если это происходит на улице, издайте громкий звук (железная банка об асфальт) или команда “ нельзя”, потом подзовите к себе - и лакомство. Если не можете договориться с бассетом, чтобы он освободил Вам место на диване, пробуйте создать ему дискомфорт, так что бы он сам ушел. А потом похвалите и лакомство. Или отвлекайте игрушкой, зовом или другими уловками. И впредь, если Вам это не нравится, не позволяйте!

Ищите, в чем проблема. Прежде всего, проверьте, здоров ли он. Затем, проанализируйте, что могло спровоцировать такое поведение.(не накормили, мало внимания, не погуляли, долго сидит один дома, и т.д.) Дыма без огня не бывает.
